of Buffalo Wings & Oakwood
Yep, the apartment that I’m staying in Houston is called Archstone Midtown. It’s an Oakwood Corporate Housing which is located at 10 Oak Court, Houston, Texas. It’s suppose to be a “home away from home”.

Quite a nice place, really. It has all the basic rooms of an apartment & has almost all the features that you would need. Our apartment is located on the 3rd floor & it has no elevator, but it’s actually a big blessing in disguise as we can get online. Whereas his collegue who is staying at the ground floor can’t detect any unsecured wireless network. The kitchen is spacious & complete with everything from pots & pans to cutleries. The bathroom has shampoo, conditioner, soap & a few more products from Neutrogena. And the apartment even comes with a washing machine & dryer! That’s just wonderful as you don’t have to worry about hanging your clothes to dry at the balcony, haha. Haven’t got a chance to try out the Community Amenities yet tho.

Had a very filing dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar at Gray Street yesterday. Ordered Jerk Chicken Sandwich, a lil bit too pepperish & burnt for my taste, but the mayonese made it better. Had some carribean jerk sauce chicken wings & a big cup of Coke as well. The sauce for the wings is quite nice & not hot, but the chicken isn’t served warm so it didn’t taste as good. The place is more of a sports bar, very noisy, yet there are families dining there as well. There are many TVs in every direction possible, tuning in to different sports channels, quite interesting. USA’s ESPN is mostly about football, basketball and baseball. Never really watch those
but still had a great time there & the food is relatively cheap too, around USD6. Looking forward to more dining experience to come.
